Creation of poster

Today we finish wrapping up our poster project . Today I learned you have to be kind a treat others how u want to be treated. The creation of the poster did had a lot of meaning towards my personal life. I guess I can say during the creation of the poster I really had to think of it as how to be able to describe myself or contrast to another noun .

Reflect on the simile and metaphor worksheet. Which topic challenged you the most when creating your figurative language, and why? In your response, explain what made that topic difficult and how you worked through the challenge (or what you might do differently next time).

Today we started working on the adobe express poster and wrapping it up. Today I learned how to work and manage to do poster on adobe express. I struggled doing mental struggles . It was a hard course to express it as if it was a pressure on me .

Today you created similes and metaphors that reflect your struggles, growth, and resilience. In a well-developed paragraph, reflect on the process. What did you learn about yourself while writing your figurative language?

Today we worked on making our own simile and metaphors. Today I learned how it’s a bit challenging to make my own metaphors like I get stuck. I learned how easy it is to put all my emotions and thoughts felt or min can be converted to something simple. I saw how well developed I have become based on all these topics given. Another thing I saw was me being able to see the struggles I went through and how I handled them. Going through all these struggles made me be the person I am today . This shows how I could express these moments in my life like if it was quicker than a clock. I learned how I was capable of doing this assignment with challenges I’ve faced as simile and metaphors.

Describe how you spent your time, any activities, traditions, travel, hobbies, or moments that stood out to you. You may also discuss something new you tried, something you learned, or how the break helped you reset before returning to school. Keep your response appropriate for a school setting and focus on experiences you are comfortable sharing publicly

Today we worked on a poem and writing down similes and metaphors. Today I learned to acknowledge who is with you who are with you for the jealousy . I personally worked the whole break . I actually enjoyed because I had the chance to make a lot more money even though I was tired working doubles was worth . I learned how to accept certain things and some other things was to get home and get my rest. I also had some time to spend with my babies and surprise them at church .

If you had to describe how you show love using only three objects (for example: a playlist, a hoodie, a late-night snack, a long text message, etc.), what would you choose and why? Explain what each object represents and how it connects to your personality.

Today we finished on our assignment . Today I learned how people can be petty and still make you look like the bad guy of the story at the end of the day. It would be by music , late night snacks, and work. Music because I love it and because it has meaning to it depending on what you listening. Late night snacks because it would be fun and cute to eats snacks watch a movie and chill. Work because I make money and enjoy the times I do even though I get tired of working 24/7 . I enjoy the people I engage with .

Consider your experience reading The Color Purple (a fictional novel), Fences (a play/drama), and Wild (a nonfiction memoir). Which type of longer text did you enjoy the most, the novel, the play, or the memoir, and which did you find the most challenging? Explain your preference, describe what made that type of text more engaging or accessible for you, and reflect on how understanding your preference might influence how you approach future readings.

Today I finished presenting our discussion plan and asked questions to the audience . I learned that people struggle with school due to grades, projects, or teachers. I liked the novel more because the way she describes certain things makes me sit and think to reflect it on my own . I found more challenging the play because I can’t imagine all that hard work she put into being able to walk through her hike like that. It approaches my future readings knowing what type of text tone it’s being talked and what emotion due to the details.

Even if you have not presented yet, how did participating as a listener, note-taker, or responder during the Interactive Oral help you prepare for your own discussion?

It helped me prepare because I helped me figure out how to speak and how to introduce my discussion . I would now know to ask certain thing or how the students should respond towards the questions. Today we worked on presenting and answering questions. Today I learned how knowing you own limits can help you become stronger .

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day week, describe your idea of a perfect day spent with someone you care about (a friend, family member, or significant person in your life).

I would go out with my friend. First we would give each other the gifts we got . Another thing  would be to go do activities we haven’t done together . Then go out and eat or we could simply cook together some food enjoy the moment with some music . End the day with a movie. Today people presented and we listen . Today I learned how sometimes it’s hard to understand or communicate with people you love but as long as you put effort .

Write about something that you heard that you wish you could unhear.

Something I wish I hadn't heard was when my own people that I considered family talked bad about me and still continued to lie for the effort I would make for them . I wish I hadn't heard it because it did hurt but the resolution of the problem became worse and got out of hand when I grew tired of it. I learned that sometimes people aren’t who they appear to be or pretend to be. Today we presented our group projects.

Reflect on a time when you or someone you know had to choose between fitting in and staying true to their identity; what was gained or lost in that experience?

I stayed true to my true identity I gained and lost . I wasn’t going to change the way I was just to follow their leads , I never liked that. I lost pride over time and friends. But I gained peace and met good people . Today we worked on the project . Today I learned it’s okay to be shy, but you have to challenge yourself to get out of the confront zone .

Much of this section focuses on Cheryl’s physical exhaustion and discomfort. Describe a moment when your body limited what you could do, and explain what that experience taught you about your mental strength.

When I went out to the gym  and forced my body to do more weight than what it can handle . My legs would shake and give me signals of my body limiting me to not force it . It’s okay to not force yourself at times because it’s less painful for you in the end ; just do everything as how your body can handle it. Today we did an assignment about quotes. I learned how much a person can change within the years when not hanging out with the right people or making the right decisions.

What is the most challenging part of working in a group? Discuss a time when a group assignment did not go as well as you planned and how you learned from that experience.

Today we worked on a group assignment . I learned how you should trust people, but you shouldn’t trust fully because it can be bad for you . The most challenging part about working in a group would be about doing the work and interacting with each other.

What is the most challenging part of writing an essay for you? Is it brainstorming, organizing ideas, writing a strong thesis, or something else? How do you plan to overcome this challenge?

It would be brainstorming . I plan to overcome this by becoming better at trying to practice and find the main key points in a story. Today we finished our assignment. Today I learned how people argue back and forth and they continue to do so and get nowhere with that.

Describe a real moment in your life that felt like the beginning of a powerful story. Tell what happened, and why it felt like a turning point in your life?

Today we continued to read about the book and did an assignment about an article . Today I learned how to face and accept your errors and mistakes you have made and confront them. A moment that felt powerful was when I had changed the mindset that I had and became better . It was a turning point because it felt fresh and the way I was moving . No one knew what was going to be my next step or what  I was doing, like life felt better when it was just me in my world.

Bellringer 1-30 If you had to write a poem about your life right now . What would it be about ? explain

It would be about all the racism and all this ice going on right now . I would write about this because this is so important, maybe not to some people ,but still there’s families getting destroyed out here. Today we worked on articles and reading chapter 8. Today I learned about how close you can get to a person without realizing it, but never leave your guard down because you never know what can happen

Blog post 1-29 When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?

Today we were working on a writable assignment, then we also read more into the book, but we also had a homework assignment. Today I learned how powerful and strong Cheryl was throughout the hike. I can’t even imagine myself or having the guts to do what she did. I would go to sleep or just simply be in my own world figuring out why I'm in that mood or what I did wrong and calm myself down. Another thing I would do is do 5 pushups no matter where I'm at or go for a run.

1-27 write about something you’ve outgrown but still miss .

Today we finished our project presentation and we read some of the book. Today I learned how expensive houses are nowadays . Something I have outgrown but miss would be doing dumb things with my girls during freshmen and sophomore. I grew out of it because I have matured and know what to do and now instead of doing those things now I'm focused on my future.
