Cities can also be an important part of a person’s cultural identity, shaping their values, experiences, and way of life. Think of a movie or TV show that changed the way you see a specific city. How was that city and its culture portrayed, and did it present a full picture or a “single story”? Explain how this portrayal could influence how people view those who live there.

Today we went over the project we have to work on as a group about a film . Today I learned that you can’t trust a persons word only because they are stating it you have to have actions with those outcomes . Rosario tijaras is one of my tv shows I watch . It changes a persons culture because she does everything to protect her daughter. She was in Mexico having to suffer even though people turned their backs on her she still made contacts to be able to see her daughter here and there. She was taught to fight back and protect her family who goes against her. The experiences she went through can mentally be damage . Having to run from cops to do your dirty work .

Describe a hike, long walk, or outdoor experience you have had and explain what it was like physically and mentally. If you have never been on a hike, describe a time when you were outside your comfort zone or had to rely on yourself in a challenging situation. Explain what you learned from the experience.

Pretend you are writing a blog entry as Celie; the moment you uncover the hidden letters. Describe what you would think, say, and do, and how this discovery would reshape how you see Mister and yourself. Reflect on why this moment would matter so much and how it would change your next choices.

These letters show how Celie learns from the people around her, even in small ways. Think of someone in your life who influences you in a positive, everyday way—a friend, relative, teacher, or teammate. Write about what you’ve learned from them and how their influence shows up in your daily life.
