In letters 6 -10, we see how Celie starts noticing the strength of people around her, like Shug Avery’s independence and confidence. Think about someone in your life who inspires you to be stronger or more confident. What qualities do they have that you admire and try to learn from?

A person who inspires me would be my mom. She inspires me because she is strong she has gone through a lot but yet still hangs in there. She fakes a smile to not worry us and she tries to give us all she can . She tries her best to be a good mom and she does her best by supporting us with every decision we make . Even though at times she can have her moments or when she is strict . After all those boundaries she still goes to work even if she is sick , she does it to be able to provide for us . Today we worked on answering some questions from the book . Today I learned that the way Celie is willing to do for her sister is genuine love sister trying to protect her .

Describe a hike, long walk, or outdoor experience you have had and explain what it was like physically and mentally. If you have never been on a hike, describe a time when you were outside your comfort zone or had to rely on yourself in a challenging situation. Explain what you learned from the experience.

Pretend you are writing a blog entry as Celie; the moment you uncover the hidden letters. Describe what you would think, say, and do, and how this discovery would reshape how you see Mister and yourself. Reflect on why this moment would matter so much and how it would change your next choices.

These letters show how Celie learns from the people around her, even in small ways. Think of someone in your life who influences you in a positive, everyday way—a friend, relative, teacher, or teammate. Write about what you’ve learned from them and how their influence shows up in your daily life.
